Until October 2016, come and share our beautiful and peacefull OASIS, in Dakhla, where the Sahara meets the Atlantique. It’s the perfect place for kitesurfing – and we will make sure that you have the best experience, with daily yoga classes, nutrition classes, healthy food, and more… On the best spot of the lagoon! Everything is optimized to make your experience truly unique!
1.2 The Experience
Until October 2016, we offer a unique combination of Kitesurf CLINIC, DETOX retreat and BOOT camp, mixing kitesurf courses, yoga, functional training and nutrition.
You will stay in nice bungalows
with full board, in the Sahara desert, directly on the lagoon where you’ll kitesurf. You can choose between shared twin bungalows or take an upgrade for a private one, or even some VIP ones… The hotel is the first hotel on the lagoon and has a privileged location with the best service. Capacity max 150 people.100 employees are working for you full time.
Dakhla has perfect kitesurfing conditions: One of the largest kitesurf lagoon for flat water (with flamingos, dolphins and camels ) and perfect wave spots. And for the wind: steady and constant wind almost all the year…….. It is a complete kite destination for beginners, intermediates, freestylers and even wave kiters. Most of the time you will use 5, 7 or 9m kites. And it is also a perfect place to rest & relax.
The kiteyogis program:
- All days start with a morning yoga session, followed by a nutrition class during the breakfast, where we cover different topics essential for your wellness.
- During the week, you will be coached in and out of the water (personal progress plan, tips and tricks theoretical clinics, practical information about your gear, video analyses etc etc.)
- During the day, different activities are possible: kitesurf (the spot has shallow water, perfect for beginners. For more advanced kiters 3 nice downwinds are available: speed spot, white dune and oyster farm) – Cable parc, CrossFit – SUP – SPA, local visit.
- In the evening: An after-kite yoga session to recover.
- And every night animation from jam session and dance party to bbq and chill time together at the lodge.
The Kite School offers a fully equipped kitesurf center. The instructors, we are certified by the international kiteboarding organization (IKO), and speak a variety of languages. The center stocks brand new 2016 Cabrinha gear for lessons and rentals. You will find a combination of kites, twintips and directional boards. A storage to keep all your equipment. A secured kite area with boat service. Lessons and packages for all (beginners or more advanced kiters)

1.4 The Destination

This special place in the far south of Morocco, a desert city in the Sahara, offers endless lagoons with flamingos and dolphins – as well as world’s best waves! Every year the World Cup in kitesurfing, freestyle and wave, takes place there – and that’s for a reason. Dakhla offers some of the best kitesurf and surf conditions on the globe
1.5 Kiteboarding Conditions
Dakhla offers endless lagoons with flamingos and dolphins and it’s for many the definition on perfect kitesurfing conditions. Likely the largest kitesurf lagoon throughout the world is matched with perfect wave spots just across the 40 km long peninsula. On top, the wind probability: steady and constant wind almost throughout the whole year……..
Dakhla is a complete kite destination for beginners, intermediates, freestylers and even wave kiters. Most of the time you will use 5, 7 or 9m kites. During the day you can chill out at the beach bar (25°) and ride in a shorty or summer suit (3/2mm). During the evening it can be a bit chilly, therefore don’t forget to bring a nice wind jacket when waking up early in the morning or to take with you when walking in the evening hours.
1.6 Getting there
Want to come and visit us in the Kitesurf Paradise of Dakhla? It’s easy to live this experience! Just book your flight and we will come and collect you from the airport and take care of all the details for your adventure. To get to Dakhla is simple, and you can usually find some very good deals, from €225, both ways. (Check www.momondo.fr). Firstly, you need to fly to Casablanca. Most international airports fly straight to here. Depending on your country of departure, you can choose between many companies such as Royal Air Maroc, Iberia, Air France etc. Once in Casablanca, you need to get a flight to Dakhla with Royal Air Maroc. There are currently seven flights to Dakhla from Casablanca per week and since 2015 you can make the travel in a few hours instead of a stay over at Casablanca! Once you arrive at Dakhla airport, someone from the team will be there to collect you in a 4×4 with a sign that reads DAKHLA Attitude.
1.7 Accommodation
The Dakhla Attitude hotel is the best spot in the whole Dakhla lagoon right overlooking the water. There are different wooden bungalows and traditional and a great restaurant where you can eat, drink and relax, which is fully sheltered from the wind. Sit here and watch the dolphins swimming amongst the kiters and windsurfers… You have the choice between different accommodation options during this progression camp. From shared bungalow to VIP ones, all have their private shower. Free WIFI is offered in the restaurant area for all clients. For anyone who requires more connection, the option of 3G USB sticks is available for rental. Rescue boat cover is also included in the price of the camp.
